We take a look at six former slaves accounts about their experiences during and after slavery. All but one former slave; Siney Bonner (Alabama) is from North and South Carolina. During the Great Migration a lot of former slaves or children of former slaves migrated North a lot of them to Philadelphia from the Carolinas.
